Hi, I’m Noah! I do copy and line editing, developmental editing, and proofreading. While my focus is on fiction, TTRPGs, and related media, I spent six years working as an editor at a medtech consulting firm that specialized in pharma industry research. It was an international company, so I accumulated significant experience working with ESL writers for a primary English audience. On top of all that, my degree is in technical writing. My skills are adaptable to many different settings and styles.

Line editors work at the sentence or paragraph level of a manuscript. Like copyeditors, they correct errors, but their main focus is on improving the language and style of the text. Line editing may be performed as a separate service, in conjunction with developmental editing after big-picture issues have been addressed, or in conjunction with copyediting.
